Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi seemingly want nothing to do with another Donald Trump presidency, with a report stating they’ve moved to the United Kingdom.

The couple, who tied the knot back in 2008, are said to have put their Montecito, California mansion up for sale according to The Wrap.

It’s said that the two are looking to make a fresh start abroad, and that they have no intention of returning to the USA on a permanent basis.

Another source told TMZ that the couple felt “very disillusioned” by Trump’s recent election victory over Kamala Harris, prompting them to “get the hell out” immediately.

Ellen was a vocal supporter of Harris and is said to have donated $3,300 to the vice president’s campaign.

“There’s nothing more powerful than a woman whose time has come!! I can’t wait for @KamalaHarris to be our next president,” DeGeneres captioned an Instagram post back in August

What’s next for DeGeneres and de Rossi

DeGeneres has quite the property portfolio, with the Montecito mansion she and de Rossi bought back in 2019 costing them $27 million.

It’s said they now live in the Cotswolds in South West England, which is about two hours from London. Other celebrities who live in the area include David and Victoria Beckham, Kate Moss, Elizabeth Hurley and Jeremy Clarkson.
